字源 FORM — what the parts do
A cart (車) and 甫 fǔ. The 輔 were the side-boards braced against a cart's wheels to carry a heavier load — the help at the side. From bracing the wheel, every kind of propping-up: 輔助、輔導. 甫 carries the exact sound.
